Polypropylene (PP), also known as polypropylene, is a thermoplastic polymer that is used in a wide variety of applications. Polypropylene is the second most widely produced commodity plastic (after polyethylene) and it is often used in packaging and labeling.
Anti-UV sheet, a special kind of sheet. Same as you, me either know a little about it. But today I find some information about anti-UV sheet to share with you.
This passage is going to talk about the followings of anti-UV sheet:
1) UV Filtered Acrylic Anti - UV Sheet
2) Applications of Polypropylene (PP) sheet
3) Advantages and Prospects of Polypropylene
UV filtered acrylic anti-UV sheet is one of the most popular specialty acrylic sheet solutions on the market today. Although UV filtered plexiglass anti-UV sheet does not completely prevent color fading or darkening, it can filter out up to 98% of harmful UV rays. This makes anti-UV sheet the ideal plastic sheet for protecting artwork, paper or other memorabilia that may turn yellow, fade and become brittle. It is important to know that not all UV filtering plexiglass anti-UV sheet sheets are made equally, as some block more UV rays than other plexiglass, and some even filter out harmful visible light. This acrylic cloth anti-UV only blocks UV wavelengths shorter than 400 nanometers. Visible light can also be harmful, especially in the lower violet range of 400-500 nm, and is blocked by certain types of UV filters such as UF3 acrylic and museum grade acrylic.
Polypropylene (PP) sheet is an economical material with excellent physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties not found in any other thermoplastic material. It has a lower impact strength than low density or high-density polyethylene, but has superior working temperature and tensile strength.
Polypropylene (PP) sheet is used in applications such as
Water pumps
Gears
Pneumatic doors
Pickling tanks
Click plate
Chemical tank
Electroplating tank
Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastics in the world. Uses for polypropylene include plastic packaging, plastic parts for machinery and equipment, and even fibers and textiles. It is a rigid, semi-crystalline thermoplastic that was first polymerized in 1951 and is now used in a wide variety of domestic and industrial applications. Today, global demand for polypropylene is estimated at about 45 metric tons, and that number continues to grow exponentially.
Is PP waterproof? Polypropylene is waterproof and extremely resistant to moisture absorption, which adds to the benefits of packaging and its flexibility as a packaging material.
